The Stone Tablets

Who is a goddess?

You, me, us, anybody clever and savvy enough to read, write, or appreciate romance novels. That said, there are eight specific goddesses who run this blog. For more about us, see the Know Your Goddesses section.

Why start The Goddess Blogs?Leda

Zeus insisted. Otherwise, we’d still be in our writer hidey-holes slaving away at our books. But he felt that goddesses should hang out with other goddesses occasionally, so here we are. Also, it was the only way to get out of having sex with him in whatever wacky form he chose to present himself. (Have you ever had a swan make love to YOU? Trust me, it’s not fun).

Do we have to register as a member to post?

No, although down the line you will receive benefits from being registered, so you might want to consider it.

Why should we sign up for the newsletter?

Photo Courtesy of Jesse RudavskiSo you can keep track of what’s happening on the site and when the goddess’s books are being released. In future, you will also gain benefits like free book drawings held only for subscribers. We promise (on fear of Zeus striking us down) not to share our newsletter list with ANYONE. We understand that goddesses are very private people and don’t want Zeus wannabe’s showing up on their doorsteps in the shape of swans and the like.

Are there any rules for posting?

You’re on the honor system, except for these two:

1) No posts from aliens, since the goddesses are only fluent in Earth languages. We wouldn’t want to embarrass ourselves by accidentally calling you a doodoo head in Venusian.

2) Posters shouldn’t call other posters doodoo heads. Please apply to one of the goddesses for an extensive list of more creative expletives.
