I write steamy, humorous Regency-set historical romances for Pocket Books, when I'm not playing goddess to a family that tends not to be terribly awed by my goddess-ness. I've written thirteen books, two novellas, and two short stories as Sabrina Jeffries. Before that, I had three books published as Deborah Nicholas and eight as Deborah Martin. In Germany, I am STILL Deborah Martin, so you will find all my SJ books published there under that name. A native of New Orleans, I now make my home in North Carolina with my husband and son, where we dutifully celebrate Mardi Gras every year by wearing green, gold, and purple beads. (I know what you're thinking, but no, I don't show my you-know-whats for beads, and you wouldn't want me to. Get your mind out of the gutter, for Pete's sake!) My motto as a goddess is the same as any New Orleanian's--Laissez le bon temps roulez! Or, for those of you who don't speak Creole French, let the good times roll!
