Lovely goddess SuzyQ dropped a gem into my mailbox this week; a gem called Ian Somerhalder. According to wiki, he’s ‘an American fashion model, actor and producer, notable for playing Boone Carlyle in the TV drama Lost and Damon Salvatore in the TV drama The Vampire Diaries‘.
Whatever show he’s on, I want to watch him. Er, I mean ‘it.’ The show, not — Oh heck, I’m flustered. Let’s just say he’s worth watching.
Not only is he a hottie, he’s also currently doing a series of PSAs for his home state of Louisiana as they face the consequences of the deep ocean oil spill. I’m impressed. Looks AND a giving soul?

Hello handsome! Thank you oh wonderous Goddess Karen! I swear I think I ovulated when I saw the close up of his eyes. I am usually a sucker for brown eyes but I am finding that blue eyes can be just as sexy. Seriously though it is a great distraction from an otherwise upsetting evening because there was a a story on premmie babies and has been four years since I lost my baby. So yeah he cheered me up a bit.

I think he is absolutely ADORABLE!!!! I watched Vampire Diaries just for him. Unfortunately, after watching that show a couple of times, I didn’t like the kill for the day part of it. Lots of other Vampire stories based the story more on people than gore and kids (and vamps) misbehaving. It seemed to me the show was Gossip Girl with vampires. Maybe I am getting old, but that doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate good looking man flesh.

Okay fine! You hit the mark or Ian again!! I have an Ian and I think he is very pretty inside and out but with this Ian I can “admire” even more. Makes me a little sorry I never got into Lost. Thank you Goddess Karen and thank you Goddess Suzy Q!!

Oh by the way I find that bit of a scruffy beard very appealing too. Almost as appealing as a 5 o’clock shadow rubbed on just the right spot on the neck. Heh! I think I will allow myself to be a little shallow but give him props for being more than just a pretty face … chest … arms … eyes … whatever *sighs and drools slightly*

He is so gorgeous. I first spotted him 10 years ago in a summer television series called “Young Americans.” My niece and I sighed over those eyes through the eight episodes of the show then cursed the TV execs when they didn’t pick it up for the regular season. I was glad to see him go on to bigger and better things!
