Can someone help me? I’m looking for an old Irish Celtic folk song. last known from sugarloaf records. about drunken Irishmen. One lyric says “I don’t know where you’ve been my friend, but I see you’ve won first prize.” or a song that says”Where have you been? I’ve looked for ever and a day.” By a woman, about an older couple, both in the hospital.

Also, I want you to know that this happens all the time to writers… they start a plot thread and go down a few blind allys and have to back track and figure out where they are! And then go back and edit and plant clues and cut scenes and even characters and then tie up new loose ends… and well, it’s a messy process sometime. But y’all are doing great!

Alternately to the “It was all a bad dream fix”, you can just go back to the last thread that made sense to you and pick it up from there. This is YOUR story after all!
