FROS asks where will YOU be Christmas Day?
Dec 20th 2009
Karen HawkinsGoddess Eye Candy
I know where I’ll beĀ . . .

Oh yes . . .

And from the movie:

And MORE from the movie:
After an entire day of Christmas festivities, I plan on hiding in a dark theater, popcorn in hand, and escaping into Victorian England with Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law!
Just one question … Where will YOU be Christmas Day?

I don’t know where I’ll be, because it doesn’t come out here in Brazil on Dec 25th. I do know WHAT I will be and that is jealous of you! Humpf.

Oooh double eye candy. Love Robert Downey Jr. He was sooo adorable in Only You. Sadly for me the movie will be released in Turkey on January 15.
I work in a half American company in Turkey so I’m off on Christmas, but I have things to do at the taxing office so I’ll probably be stuck there most of the day :-/

WOW, I adore Sherlock and I adore Robert…. but Holmes wouldn’t be in Spain until January the 15th…. Please tell me if you like the movie… I can’t wait…. Thanks for the trailer….. Every Sunday is a pleasure to awake with FROS…

hmmm. my Christmas festivities with my huge family go on for days.
Once every couple of years, a few of us sneak off to the theatre. I’ll happily convince people to go for this movie!

We’ll be going to the theater, but probably to see Avatar. We usually take my son to the movies on Christmas (it’s a long day for him with no caregiver, and he gets easily bored). Avatar is 3D and (sort of) animated, so we’re thinking it will hold his attention. Hard to know.
Otherwise, I’d be SO up for Holmes. I’ve always loved Robert Downey, Jr.

Home. In the kitchen a great deal of the time, truth to tell, and loving every minute of it. Wishing all a joyous holiday season and a wonder-filled 2010.

I’ll be recovering from an over dose of Christmas cheer in the form of a large family gathering and way too much food, noise, more food, laughter, even more……… You get the picture. Boxing Day usually finds me cowering under the covers with Bella the Wonder Dog and appreciating the quiet.
In spite of his drug past, I’ve always enjoyed Robert Downey, Jr. The first time I can remember seeing him was in “Heart and Souls”. So cute. And he had a mighty nifty group of guardian angels to back him up.
Enjoy, Karen.

Robert Downey Jr.! Amazing actor and not too hard to look at either. Christmas Day will find me in the kitchen making a big meal. We do most of our celebrating on Christmas Eve, but Christmas Day has us opening a family gift. Always a couple of board games and we have a couple this year. And a patio fire pit for our new house, which will have us sitting around that night, drinking hot chocolate and peppermint schnapps, or wine “depends on the mood your in tonight”. Maybe toast some marshmellows!
We’ll see that movie sometime over this Christmas break. Avatar is another we want to see.

I will be enjoing Christmas day at my house with hubby, daughter and my parents. While I know we will be watching a movie at some point during the day, I’m pretty sure it will be have talking animals and we’ll be in my living room.
I’ll be Christmas green with envy though… enjoy Robert and Jude. I’d take them under my tree any day!

oooh! Avatar! coming from a family of geeks and dweebs, we’ll probably flock to that one if there is a movie outing

I’m going to see “Avatar” today, which frees me up to see RD Jr on the day after Christmas. Yay! (Which means I’d better get back to work on writing and page proofs, both due the beginning of January. Sheesh.)

Christmas Day is mandatory attendance at Mama Bolton’s house. My brothers and I dare not tick off the 4″11 silver haired Cherokee/Creek woman. She is NOT to be toyed with at all. The Hound of the Baskervilles is afraid of our Mama. Trust me. However, I WILL be making a date with Holmes and Watson before they leave the theatre! Can’t wait. I LOVE the Sherlock Holmes stories and Robert Downy Jr is SUCH a good actor. Thanks for the photos and trailer, K-Hawk. Lovely treat on a cold Sunday morning in Dixie!

I think a late afternoon viewing of Sherlock Holmes will definitely be happening. The whole family wants to see it, and I think Robert Downey, Jr. is looking exceptionally smexy!!!

I’ll be with family on Christmas, but I can’t wait to see Sherlock Holmes. I am off from work the week between Christmas and New Years, so I’ll probably go then

My family is meeting up for Christmas Day, but the festivities will die down around five and then — HELLLLOOOOO, SHERLOCK! Me, my guy, and the kids will all wander over and see the show! CAN’T WAIT! It’ll be a lovely way to end a lovely day.

I will be joining you. We’re going with friends to see it, then having Christmas dinner, then nothing but board games. My neighbor has an open house, so I need to make time to stop by there too. And I never go to the movies without eating popcorn – which may interfere with Christmas Dinner!! Oh well. Life should always be that tough. I have be in love with Robert Downey, Jr. forever. Even through his drug problems, I sent him healing vibes and good thoughts as I truly felt he was strong enough to pull through it. And look at him. Look how magnificent he is. *sigh* What a man.

Hopefully I will be at Cinemark in their stadium seating watching a brilliant actor. Failing that I will be serving up more food than anyone should eat and then cleaning up a FEMA worthy kitchen.
Happy Holidays to all of us!

We’ll be at home with our kids, fighting over who gets to take a nap first. Those Cmas naps are quite the tradition at our house since we usually get up at an hour no human should have to get up at:) We also have gifts, food and movies though!

I will be at my older sister’s with my family. It’s a tradition to go to the movies in the late afternoon on Christmas day. I want to see that movie soo badly!

I’ll be home with my DH and the rest of the family except for one daughter and her husband who really don’t want to fight the roads over the mountains with the snow storm we had.
Sherlock Holmes is on my DH’s and my list to see the weekend after Christmas. We will be going away for a couple days and that is part of our plans.
Hope you all have a Great Christmas!

Wish I could go on Christmas day but the citybus system does not run so have to stay home.
Will get to the theater as soon as I can, like the next day to see Sherlock Holmes.
Nothing like a little eye candy for the holiday weekend.
