Ok, Andrés Velencoso’s not REALLY my fb friend. He’s a guy that one of my REAL fb friends (aka goddess Trini) suggested for FROS.
I have one thing to say about this week’s choice:
Is it just me, or did Trini find us one of the sexiest FROS ever? I am SO going to use Andres as the inspiration for my next historical romance … and maybe the one after that. He’s HAWT, HAWT, HAWT!

I had to promote the spanish “products” of quality…. When I see Andrés I imagine him dressed like a perfect english Lord of century XIX…. (ok,ok, I imagine him without clothes too… I confess it)

Hi Gwynlyn, this pic is from parade of models I don’t know who is Lucia maybe the designer, in fact he is the boyfriend of Kylie Minogue… she is a very very lucky woman….

Hey, that’s MY guy! He was my inspiration for Stoneville!
I kept wondering who Lucia was (the tattoo shows up in some pics and is airbrushed out in others), and I finally found an article that said–she was his MOTHER! She died of cancer a few years ago, and he had her name tattooed on his chest in memory. I thought that was the sweetest thing ever! I have a ton of pics for him, if anyone wants more. *G*

He’s a hottie. And the whole ‘love my mother’ thing is TOTALLY sexy.
Ah, if only men knew how easy women are … if he snuggles a kitten, plays with a baby, or loves his mom, we all melt.

Has anyone noticed how we all use the same guys for our inspiration—- and most of them are Mediterranean types? I picture more than half my heroes looking like this FROS.
These are great pics of him too. To die for. I’m moving a couple to my private inspiration picture file.

Oh, ladies, and if you google him, there are a couple of other pics that are equally artistic, but full body. I am merely pointing that out because I know that there is all this aesthetic sensibility among the goddesses.

GOOD LORD, MADELINE !!!!!!!!!!! Warn a sister, how about it?? I Googled him and almost had a heart attack. Ladies, she’s not kidding. There are a couple of photos of him in the altogether that should be labeled as hazardous to the health of an old widow woman! Which is why I saved them to my inspiration file AND put them on my desktop. Heart attack schmart attack. I’ll go with a smile on my face.

Thank you, Trini! You know, when I went back and REVIEWED these pics (I’m old, my memory isn’t what it used to be . . . ) with the thought of him being a book character, I can see him as the hero in MANY books. I think I imagine our HEA men to look like him quite a bit – whether or not they are described as latin-looking. I suggest that we all look again *wink* and figure out what character in all of our goddesses’ books he reminds them of. Madeline, of course we’ll need your inspiration file of photos to use for help. For instance, he reminds me of Ian Walker in goddess Lori’s “Thunder Moon”. Let’s see, who else . . . .?

Hi Cindi, you are right (and you Madeline), the most of the romantic heroes (especially historical heroes) are look like Andrés, I imagine them like him (or similar) the most of the times… I don’t know why the most of the heroes are described as latin-looking or mediterranean type… I suposse this is because latin men are more… “dangerous”? or sexys? than blondes. Well, anyway, I always prefer brown men, I think they are more exciting….
I think Andrés could be Lord Iversley (by Sabrina Jeffries), yes, I know he has blue eyes, but…
or he could be Lord Dare (by Nicole Jordan) or Lucien Balfour (by Suzanne Enoch). I know they aren’t exactly like him but in any case, Andrés could be one of them… and I suposse that I imagine him like them because he has the same point of seducer and rake…
Louisa I saw the photos you say…. yes…. and now my keyboard is full of dribbles and my eyes have left their orbits…

I should have mentioned the full-newd pics, because they were quite interesting. While I couldn’t use them for FROS, I enjoyed ah, checking them out. Just to assure myself of the quality of our candidate, of course. No other reason!
