I only see the DWTS recap while waiting for Castle to start.

I have seen a few eps of Project Runway.

When the Thanksgiving company is here, I end up seeing quite a few shows since she is fairly addicted to HGTV.

Well, if professional bull rider Ty Murray and his wife, the talented singer Jewel, can be on DWTS, I don’t see why RM and her DH can’t compete. No stress fractures allowed, however. Those are so overdone. {G}

The Amazing Race is the only reality show we watch. We love to travel. We like to compare what the contestants do with how we would have chosen and done. I think some have gotten a bit too cut throat and nasty. I wanted to do the family one with one of our daughters and our son. We each have a different strength and would have made a good team. Our son just laughed (snorted actually) and shook his head. Our daughter said she didn’t want the world to see how disfunctional we were. After watching the show, we aren’t all that bad compared to many of the participants.
I have watched Dancing With the Stars once or twice. I enjoyed it, but didn’t become addicted. We have a club meeting the night it comes on, and if we take too long, at least half the ladies demand we speed up so they can get home to watch it.
Maybe you should try out. Romance writer and her husband compete against each other. That would work.

Heather, give it another try. You won’t believe how talented Donny Osmond is. Mya is also a wonderful dancer. For my money, those are the two to beat. I hope they go head to head as the final two. Both so very talented and hard working!

Claudia — I’m right there with you. . .I loved Lance and Joey and they were both so talented. . .sadly I haven’t watched it lately cause there haven’t been any “stars” I’ve cared for, but I do love the show and it’s my only reality show concession — except for “So you think you can Dance” when I’m really that bored.

Margaret, I think the order of eliminations has been excellent this season—translation: I agree with who’s been booted, when. LOL

I was so impressed by Kelly O in the first round. Wow, can she dance, but the love affair is over for me. I’m rooting for Donny O. He just puts it out there, 110% every single time, and he’s the oldest one! I’m so darn impressed by him. A pure professional who keeps working until he gets it. And then he “lives” the dance, makes me believe he’s feeling what the dance requires him to feel. I don’t get that from Kelly.

I know what you mean about Lacey. She’s so talented! Truly a remarkable dancer, but she just rubs me the wrong way half the time. I wanted to kill her when she partnered with Lance (who was a great dancer, so focused) and her choreography was always off. Don’t punish Lance!! But the judges do. They have all these “rules.” *g*

Yes, Claudia. I am totally with you on DWTS. I’ve watched it since day 1. I like how they change a couple of things each season to shake it up and keep it a bit fresh. Since I got my DVR awhile back, I use it to whip thru and cut out the clutter. I always cringe at what the judges have to say when you know the celeb has worked him/herself into the ground to do the number.

I enjoy deciding who should go each week. This week I batted 1000 and got both right. I liked both the guys but we are getting down to the nitty gritty now. I think everyone left is good and improving. My heart belong to Kelly Osbourne. Her lack of self-esteem is heartbreaking. But I was touched when she was being taken in the ambulance and Ozzie was sitting beside her in it. Suddenly, he reached over and wiped a tear away from her cheek. Tom says there is always an “Aww” moment in each show. This was that for me.

I love Dmitry, Derek & Mark. I don’t like Lacey. She annoys me for reasons I can’t explain. I think Cheryl is the bomb. And I would love to have Karina’s body. I’d love to wear those costumes. They are gorgeous w/o being obscene.

Love DWTS & have finally turned DD onto it.

Gwynlyn, you adore what I adore. Castle is wonderful! And DWTS. I hate it when a star is a good dancer and gets voted out in favor of a less than great star/dancer. That KILLS me. I really, really thought Gilles got robbed last season. He was such a natural and a pure pleasure to watch. I loved Ty last season, even though he couldn’t really dance. He was such a doll and worked so hard! I couldn’t believe he made it to the top five on pure guts and charm.

I’m with you. I watch 4 hours of TV right now because of adore DWTS—and Castle. Love Castle. But Dancing is my addiction, although it hurts to see some of the stars go even when they aren’t the best dancers.

My dh would look like Billy Rae if ever he tried Dancing, but me? Oh, the joy. *G*
