I can cut my own hair, I like Walmart make-up, I don’t like people touching my toes so there goes pedicures.

Actually, I might be the cheapest person on earth.

I can’t, however, go without Parmesan cheese. I know it smells like cat throw-up, but I really need it. I also can’t live without Havarti, some kind of Pinot (although my trader joes taste-bud twin hooks me up with cheap ones), and I’m with Erica. My freezer is full of veggie meat.

Morningstar Farms anything. And they scare me because they’re so expensive.

Well lets’s see… I coulld never stopped buying romance novels let’s be honest… Also I can’t imagine leaving without internet, grrr no WAY !!
As for food, well bread and cheese are two of my favorite thing. I could live on them.
And living without chocolate… impossible

the Coach store – yes, they send me annual Christmas cards
hair stylist – she’s been cutting my hair for 18 yrs, putting “natural” color in for 10, don’t know what I’d do if she ever retires…

I thought I couldn’t live without my maids every 2 wks, but after DD #1 went to college (cutbacks); yes I can!

bad for you food?
chips & queso (melted cheese dip)
fried pickles & okra
BBQ potato chips
Kraft macaroni & cheese
port wine cheese & crackers
ALL hot dogs – chili cheese dogs w/red onions; mustard & sauerkraut at a game; bagel or pretzel dogs
warm diet coke – grosses everyone out when I pop a tab straight from the 12-pack
pizza – any way, shape, or form – rolls, pies, frozen, Red Baron french bread – you name it!

I think it gets its bad rep from movies. They always talk about it being bad or scare people off with things like liver pie. They never talk about the other pies, or pastries, or pasties, or stew, or bangers and mash, or fish n chips (best I’ve had is in London)…

The food – you really don’t want to know. I was in the Peace Corps and ate some different stuff that most in this country wouldn’t even consider. Some of it I really liked. (pig intestines cooked with pig blood, vinegar and hot peppers. Sounds gross and would only eat it if I was sure of the person who cooked it. Very rich and not something you would want every day.)

Oh, just reread the question – cheap and gross. We grind up bologna and dill pickles, add mustard and mayonnaise for a sandwich spread. It is great and cheap. We were a family with six children and on weekends when the cousins came over there were often 15 kids plus the adults. This was always a favorite.

What could I not live without? BOOKS. My husband is very tolerant. I have over twenty over-full bookcases and boxes of books waiting for me and I still buy more. Plus I work at a library. I’m a complete addict.

Add me as another on the expensive haircut bandwagon! A good cut lasts longer than a bad one, and it makes you feel good about yourself, too!

For my food, I think I’d have to say fried bologna sandwiches – you fry the bologna in a nice gob of butter, then rub the pieces of bread in the crispy butter pan before adding the bologna. Add some super salty potato chips and it’s perfect! Don’t tell my arteries, though!

I’m the pickiest eater on Earth. Like, ever! Everyone says I’m super spoiled. I’ll spend a stupid amount of money in a fancy restaurant I like (usually my parent’s money — I have an allowance ). I can’t live, obviously, without computer with internet (and NOT dial-up. I had no idea people still used that), cable, DVR, a car…
I’m trying to remember something cheap and gross I like, but I can remember anything specific right now. However, I’m often hearing things like: “For someone who’s so picky, this sure is cheap/gross”.
