He’s definitely one of Croatia’s National Treasures . . . just LOOK at those EYES. Wow!

Wow maybe I’ll have to persuade Dh that we need to go on holiday to Croatia!! Just the lift I needed after a full day gardening! Today has been hot and just as it is cooling down I come here and find it’s suddenly got HOT again! Thanks Karen

One of my best friends from high school works for the U.S. State Dept. and was stationed in Croatia for 3 years…wonderful beaches & lovely people, she reported. Yes, the Croats have their own language.
if you ever take a cruise, you’ll notice a lot of the staff members are from Croatia – my friend was in charge of processing visa applications & said a lot of people work for the cruise lines…

I never saw this guy in action, but I’m definitely going to rent the movie! I just LOVE a guy with a twinkle in his eyes. Yummmmmmm!

Oh yes, very nice.
I could so go to Croatia for a chance at spotting him! Also being 1/4 Croatian and completely unable to do genealogical research here in the US, it would be a two-fer trip.
The first movie I remember him from was The Peacemaker with Clooney and Kidman, he played a solider (all Croats are drafted to serve as are many Mediterranean youths) and spoke in his native Croatian. It’s a very short clip but, so cute and in uniform.
