It’s the RWA ROOMIE QUIZ

As many of you know, Karen H and Suzanne shared a room at the Romance Writers of America National Conference. Take the quiz below and see if you can guess which roomie is responsible for which high-jinx!

1) Which side of the closet belonged to which roomie?

2) Suzanne and Karen tend to hibernate at conferences and play inane games. This year, who won the Ultimate Roomie Scrabble Championship?

3) Who sat straight up in bed, wide awake in less than a second, and yelled at the top of their lungs, “WHAT WAS THAT?” when a cellphone fell off a nightstand in the middle of the night?

4) Snacking is an important part of both Karen’s and Suzanne’s lives, though they have different ideas about what, exactly, constitutes a snack. Which picture shows Karen’s snacks and which shows Suzanne’s?

5) Who forced their roomie to change out of their comfy jeans and into ’something presentable’ for the prestigious RITA Awards when said roomie was on ‘conference strike’ and ‘tired of wearing those monkey clothes?’

6) Which roomie lays awake all night and stares at the other? Which is sort of eerie, when you think about it.

7) Who showed up carrying a Hans Solo doll? (Ok, that was a give-away, but we like you, so it’s all good.)

and 8 ) Which roomie wore the naked Homer pajama bottoms?

    These are all wild guesses on my part. My shoe collection tends to match the ones on the right. I didn’t know Snickers came in bite size. To what purpose? And those are 2 gorgeous goddesses in the pic. Is one trying to jump & being restrained by the other? Or is one trying to “help” the other over?

    Tee hee! This is fun! I’m grinning ear to ear.

    Btw, Goddess Kim took the picture of me and Suzie having a brawl outside of the San Francisco Acquarium. We all got to pat a stingray! Well . . . maybe it wasn’t a stingray but it was a ray of some sort.

    Suzanne and I have roomed together for … oh, i think it’s seven years now and we just LOVE it. We get along so well and laugh so much — honestly, that woman is the world’s most hysterical chick EVAH!

    We should have come to your room for snacks! I had Jenny Craig snacks. Although I did get chocolate covered peanuts from Kim. I didn’t open the box until Saturday, right before the ceremony. My nerves were toast. Those choco peanuts were inhaled as if we were elephants. Pun SO not intended.

    I got to meet BOTH Goddesses at Nationals and they are as lovely in person as they are on this blog. (Of course I have met Karen before and lets just say there WAS that Diet Coke incident!)

    Lol! I’m late. Was reading CNN.com. A bad habit of mine.

    ANSWERS!!!!

    1. Left side of the closet - Karen, Right side - Suzanne (A little secret — this year I mailed my shoes. Then, before we left, I mailed them back home. An easy way to get a large # of shoes somewhere without having to pack an extra suitcase!)
