Procrastination Made Easy
Jul 22nd 2008
Julia LondonOn Writing!
I have a book deadline that is two weeks away. I am nowhere near being finished. I have told my family that they will have to eat tree bark and launder their clothes in the pool until I get this book finished. They have left me alone, and what do I do? I check out places like Myspace and Facebook. I go and read about scrabulous, as I have had some invitations to play, but I’m not sure what I am getting into. I email stupid stuff to people whose time is valuable. I read the paper. I go wogging then come back and stretch. I check my schedule for San Francisco to see what I am doing. I worry about the weather there, because San Fran temps are like my winter, and i don’t have anything suitable for summer when the temp is below 100. So I wander over to Nordstrom’s to see what I would buy if I were buying. I shop at Itunes, update my ipod, and then wander over to Netflix.

This morning, I have ordered online: Foot rest from relax the back. Pilates videos. A purse. Thomas the Train stuff. Songs from itunes.

I have answered: 14 emails. Created four more. Decided my inbox was too full and methodically reviewed and deleted. Then I did that on my three other inboxes (how did I end up with four inboxes? roadrunner, yahoo, and two googe mails). Now, I am writing my blog post for tomorrow, and surfing the web for funny procrastination sayings.
And the clock just keeps ticking…
What is your favorite procrastination technique? Do you play scrabulous? What are you wearing to San Francisco? Who among you volunteers to come to Austin and kick my ass into gear?

I’m having trouble with deciding what to buy for SF, too. Plus, two hours a day at the gym is really eating into my writing schedule. And then there’s blogging, email, and checking my Updown (stocks website, you play with an imaginary million dollars).
Karen Rose on 22 Jul 2008 at 3:42 am #
Julia, you are playing my song! The Procrastination Blu-ooooo-uuuuues.
I shopped for SF today (got into a cocktail dress two sizes smaller!!!). That was Big News for me. So I had to email several friends about it, LOL.
I don’t know what scrabulous is. It sounds like an infectious disease. If it is like Text Twist, it is.
I’m awake at 4:30 trying to get through all the admin details of my life. Bills, etc.
I’d come to Austin to kick your ass into gear, if someone comes to Sarasota to kick my ass into gear first…
I did get my proposal done for my new book this week, so that is something! Plus, did I mention my cocktail dress is TWO SIZES SMALLER?!?!
Karen Rose on 22 Jul 2008 at 3:44 am #
Sherri, I don’t want to know about fun stock sites where I can play with imaginary money. Lalalalalala.
It didn’t work. Now I know there is another fun play site out there…. Curses
And two hours at teh gym? Go girl! I think getting into shape is a full time job.
Margaret Garland on 22 Jul 2008 at 5:56 am #
Congratulations, KarenR! Did you say 2 sizes smaller? Be careful. A big wind might blow you away in SF.
Julia, as KarenR already said, you are playing my song. I needed to clean house and wash clothes yesterday. I decided to take apart my snazzy “Taste of Home” magazine/cookbook and cut it up into the various pieces that will fit into a recipe box. I started typing them into MasterCook 8. I realized I could scan the yummy pictures and put them into each recipe. So, I spent a goodly # of hours typing & scanning. I did get all the Appetizer/Beverage section cut up & scanned. Typing in the recipes takes a bit longer and I can type pretty fast.
Today, I really need to clean, wash, mop, etc. Yeah. Right. I saw Scrabulous but haven’t tried it. DD would love it as she loves Scrabble on-line.
Margaret Garland on 22 Jul 2008 at 5:58 am #
Julia, you wll look spiffy in SF wearing your purse. A sure traffic stopper.
cail on 22 Jul 2008 at 6:30 am #
ah procrastination. although i’m not much of a procrastinator, i can sympathize. the internet can really eat up time.
warning: unless you have some serious time on your hands NEVER start Scrabulous. NEVER. you have been warned. this is NOT a deadline game.
I’d be happy to come to Austin… who’s buying my plane ticket?
K-Ro, AWESOME about the dress! Hurray! Ladydawgfan started a tread in Off Mt Oly about weight-loss. You should post your story. and method.

I’m in the middle of doing tax papers for the business… my office looks like someone shrunk it, shook it up, then blew it back up to it’s actual size. Daily, and I do mean daily, I walk into my office, look at all the papers, work on it for a couple of hours and then I find something else far more pressing to do…like call a friend, look at other websites, decide what color I’m going to get my toe nails painted… anything, and I do mean anything is better than confronting taxes….So Mr. Procrastination has moved into my office and today I think I need to give him his walking papers.
Margaret on 22 Jul 2008 at 6:35 am #
Too late, cail. I just played a round of Solitaire Scrabulous and got soundly trounced by the robot. Story of my life. I bravely stepped away after one game. What will power! Now, I’m going to get my DD in trouble. heh heh
Julia, Scrabulous is just like Scrabble. Who, I’ve read, have been trying to shut it down for some time. I think I read that you can play the real, original Scrabble on-line now at their web site. Haven’t checked yet. Got chores to do. Well, maybe just one time.
Gannon on 22 Jul 2008 at 6:39 am #
Woo hoo, K-Ro! That is fabulous that your cocktail dress is TWO SIZES SMALLER! You rock!
Oh, Julia, I am an expert procrastinator. You name it: Facebook, e-mails, online shopping, reading about celebrities, watching silly stuff on YouTube…… the list is endless!
I do believe I should add Scrabulous to my list. I don’t think I have enough to do.
Ellen on 22 Jul 2008 at 6:52 am #
I’ll tell you all about my life as a procrastinator….later.
cail on 22 Jul 2008 at 6:54 am #
lol Ellen!

My deadlines are self imposed, but I try to stick with them, but on occasion I do procrastinate. To procrastinate I go online to check my email, visit goddess blogs, visit Julia’s website to check out the message board, check facebook and myspace, and play games. Then I read romance novels, magazines and other assorted literature. Finally I leave my office and sit down to cross stitch.
Jessie on 22 Jul 2008 at 8:07 am #
All this talk about weight loss and gym going (that’s so awesome, Karen R, and Sherri–I envy your two hours at the gym). I skipped the gym most of last week, but I’m trying to get back on schedule this week.
As for procrastination–my favorite form of procrastination happens when I’m trying to clean my room. Normally this includes putting back books that I’ve taken down from my bookshelves. I say to myself, “Well, I just read a little bit of this, just this one part…” Two hours later and I’ve done no cleaning.
Computer procrastination includes facebook, amazon.com, thegoddessblogs, and fanfiction.net.
And what am I wearing to San Francisco? Sadly, nothing. Not going to SF, though I dearly wish I was. (wish I were?) Hope all y’all lucky ones have so much fun, though!
Louisa Cornell on 22 Jul 2008 at 8:14 am #
Jessie hit on my favorite method of procrastination. I start cleaning up the house and organizing my books and I find an old favorite or WORSE, I walk by the TBR tower of books and knock one off. I tell myself I will read just ONE chapter. Yeah, right! I have 9 dogs and 4 cats people! DISTRACTION CENTRAL! They all love to play and I love to be distracted! I am supposed to be diligently working on my second book because I already have a request for it. Type a few pages, hit the blogs, IM my CP, check e-mail, check my website stats (it’s my first website okay?)
I am trying to get my wardrobe for San Francisco ready. Karen R, those 2 sizes you lost? I FOUND THEM! They’re attached to my BUTT!
Good grief!
SuzyQ on 22 Jul 2008 at 8:46 am #
Well, aside from this site, I am a Flickr addict. I can spend hours there.
KarenR - WHOOO HOOO!!! Congrats on the down sizing!!!
Karen Rose on 22 Jul 2008 at 9:27 am #
Thanks, guys!
Jessie - you scared me for a minute. I thought perhaps you were going to SF au natural, LOL! We’ll be thinking of all the goddesses next week. I have a camcorder and will take copious footage of goddess antics.
Now I know to stay away from scrabulous. I guess it’s like guacamole dip. I always say I don’t like it, but in truth I’ve never tried it. I know if I try it I will like it and it’ll be one more thing to tempt me.
Oh, I do that prostination-while-cleaning thing too. Just a few chapters. Just the love scene. Just one more love scene. It’s a sickness
Lori on 22 Jul 2008 at 9:42 am #
Spider Solitaire, baby. You can waste away hours on Spider Solitaire.
As for RWA, I am totally stoked to be going. Don’t be shocked when you are all stalked by me at the Literacy signing and at some of the other events. (I promise to actually be very nice and un-stalkerlike, just a polite squeeing fangirl).
Congrats on being down 2 sizes, Karen! I, unfortunately, and heading in the other direction. Too much sitting on my arse playing Spider SOlitaire at work when I should be working, LOL!
Kim on 22 Jul 2008 at 10:08 am #
Oh me, me. We can make this a mini-tour. First stop, Karen R’s house then off to Texas and Julia for both of us. *g*
Well, did I mention I’m officially done shopping for SF? AND that I’m not all packed? Yup, my suitcase is ready to go.
K-Rawk–That’s awesome!!!
For SF wardrobes, yesterday I found the cutest red jacket. I love it!
Did I mention I’m all packed and ready to go?
Julia London on 22 Jul 2008 at 10:13 am #
K-Ro, that’s fantastic about the two sizes!!
Sherri, I hope you weren’t at the gym at three in the morning.
Okay, I have been warned of scrabulous, but I am soooooo tempted.
Kim, I may have to kick your ass for being packed and ready to go. Who’s with me? An over-achiever–let’s get her!!
Karen Hawkins on 22 Jul 2008 at 10:26 am #
KIM IS ALREADY PACKED?
Julia, I’ll hold her down; you kick her luggage off the bed and toss it around the room. THAT will teach her for getting ready early and showing those of us who plan on shopping, packing, getting their hair/nails done, cleaning their house, and washing the dogs the day before they leave. Heck, I’d do it the DAY I’m leaving but it’s at 6 a.m. Now if the plane was leaving at 4 . . .
Scrabu-what? What’s that? What am I missing?
Julia London on 22 Jul 2008 at 10:27 am #
maria, here’s what you do about those pesky taxes — you pay someone to do them! hahaha
Now you guys have me wondering what I should do about wardrobe. Seriously, 65-70 sounds sort of cold to me. What sort of stuff are you wearing (besides a spiffy new red jacket — Kim has dibs).
Claudia Dain on 22 Jul 2008 at 10:43 am #
I tried on all the clothes I planned to wear to SF yesterday. They don’t fit.
WAAHH. Karen express mailed her two sizes to me and they landed right on me!
What am I wearing? I DON’T KNOW WHAT I’M WEARING! But, whatever happens, I am so in the posse that kicks Kim’s over-achieving butt. Not only do I not know what to wear (a mumu?), I don’t know what suitcase to pack my mystery clothes into. I did fill my travel size shampoo container. Officially, that’s all I’ve done to prepare for SF. That, and cry copious tears.
Julia, I’m with you. The temps sound very cool. Do you have any light blazers? Cotton cardigans?
Julia London on 22 Jul 2008 at 11:16 am #
No, Claudia! I honestly, truly, don’t — I have scarves or shawls or whatever you call them. But they are winter colors. I’m so confused!
Julia London on 22 Jul 2008 at 11:17 am #
K-Hawk, you’re on! Lets go get her!
Karen Hawkins on 22 Jul 2008 at 11:23 am #
GRRRRR! Let’s get ‘er!
Karen Hawkins on 22 Jul 2008 at 11:24 am #
And Julia, all you need is a black sweater (goes with everything) and a light jacket. It’s cool, but not really cold.
Claudia Dain on 22 Jul 2008 at 11:31 am #
Julia, I’m bringing (I think) a light trench coat, but I’m spending two days sightseeing. Just run to the mall and pick up a black cotton cardigan. It will keep you warm and look adorable with anything.
The other trick is the feet. I usually wear some type of sandal every day of the conference. Not this year! How to keep my feet warm is going to be a challenge. When it’s in the 60s, I wear socks and solid shoes, a light sweater and long pants!
Dilemma!!!
Karen Rose on 22 Jul 2008 at 11:34 am #
Poor Kim. I’ll use my yellow belt to defend you against the torch-wielding horde that is plotting to come kick your butt.
You really shouldn’t have admitted that already packed thing, though. It’s a like a red flag in front of a Mt.Oly full of bulls.
I’m getting packed and realize all my clothes are either black or royal blue. Yes, I like these colors, but I think I should shake it up a little. I’m counting on Claudia to lead me through the confusing mass of clothes (all the racks scare me), to become a well-dressed goddess.
Karen Hawkins on 22 Jul 2008 at 11:37 am #
Pants. I’m wearing pants. And capris. No gowns this year. I’m just going to be the devastatingly understated woman in the corner in all black, nursing her third margarita and wondering if it would be ok if I sat down somewhere and just read a book. Light banter exhausts me.
Claudia, I love your idea of a trench coat. That’s very trendy. I’ve always wanted one, too!
dbrown3400 on 22 Jul 2008 at 11:37 am #
I’m not going to SF, but I’m going to dress up while you all are having the get-together after the Ritas and pretend I’m giving everyone a big cyber-hug. (If I remember the time difference, that is.) LOL
I’m good at procrastinating. I’ve been writing one book for a long while now. I’m stuck in the middle. I’ve got a great beginning and end, so when I sit down to write and get stumped I think of a million other things to do. I read, read and read. Or like others, I go on the Internet and visit TGB and other areas. I have other things I could be doing as well, so I’m good at putting those off, too. I took everyone at their word when they said I was supposed to take it easy when I retired.
Karen Hawkins on 22 Jul 2008 at 11:42 am #
dbrown, most people don’t know this, but for some of us middles are tough. For me, pages 150-250 are the hardest. We’ll be sure to lift a glass in your name in SF, too! Now, go and get your book done! Five pages a day. I know you can do it!
Hey Julia, isn’t there a hurricane headed your way? Maybe you should be in the closet or hoarding water and canned beans right about now?
Claudia Dain on 22 Jul 2008 at 11:43 am #
I am getting better and better at procrastinating. All that practice, you know.
Hanging out here *can’t* be procrastinating. I am directing goddesses to the trench coat section of the department store; I am helping Karen break out of her black and blue period; I am plotting mayhem on Kim for being packed…all real jobs, all important and necessary jobs.
Julia London on 22 Jul 2008 at 12:04 pm #
Yes, the hurricane is headed right for Texas. Unfortunately, its too far south to give me any reason to procrastinate.
Claudia, I have a trench coat. I have worn it maybe twice. :-(.
Okay, black cotton cardigan, here I come!
Jessie on 22 Jul 2008 at 12:14 pm #
KarenR- I’d go au natural if I could just go! I’d wear a chicken suit if I could go! I can’t wait to hear all the stories about the trip.
Lisa H on 22 Jul 2008 at 12:15 pm #
Julia, what’s wrong with you? Don’t you have hot flashes like the rest of us??? You don’t need jackets or sweaters if you have hot flashes. I live in upstate NY, and frankly I only wear a thin leather jacket when it dips below zero.
As for procrastinating…I should be working on my book. Instead I’m giggling over these posts and wishing my fairy god mother would show up with tickets to San Francisco.
Karen R - Way to go!!!!! I can’t wait to see pictures of all you beautiful goddesses. And Sherri —WOW! Two hours at the gym. You must be feeling like a million.
My favorite procrastination is the goddess blogs. Right after that, Spider Solitare!
DebMarlowe on 22 Jul 2008 at 12:25 pm #
Procrastination? Uh, the Goddess Blogs!
SF? Claudia keeps talking about getting cold. Hmm….I’ve got too much padding to be too worried about it! But, yes, Claudia, I’m taking a jacket!
(She was totally about to call me on it!)
Kay on 22 Jul 2008 at 1:08 pm #
I procrastinate, then work to get things done at top speed.
Most of my packing for SF (except a dress for the Ritas & stuff I need every day) has been done for a week. Don’t hate me—I was obsessing. I won’t tell you all of the things that DIDN’T get done while I was packing way too early. LOL
Requisite black cardigan (I do live in MN) and a black linen jacket, check. Black slacks and capris, check. Comfy black shoes, check. White tops to go with everything, check. OK, one red top to “shake it up a little” as K-Ro says.
I have not lost two whole sizes, like the K-Ro goddess (you go, girl) so that is why I need to buy a new dress, the one I wanted to wear won’t fit.
It goes without saying, I procrastinate a lot on blogs, and doing Sudoku online.
Must–resist–scrabulous———
kendra on 22 Jul 2008 at 1:13 pm #
No one mentioned youtube? I wasted two hours last night skimming through the junk. I went looking for one specific video then clicked on something related. And again. And again. I spent way too much time watching people get tasered.
Worse is when my writing buddy wastes time with me on the site via instant messaging. “Did you see this?” “Watch this!” Two procrastinating writers.
As for SF, Julia nailed it with the comment about summer clothing for temps under 100. I’m glad to see I’m not the only person struggling with this issue. I’m going with capris, sandals, and short sleeves. And carrying a light sweater over my arm.
Louisa Cornell on 22 Jul 2008 at 1:15 pm #
I’m with you, Yankee Lady! My padding is a great source of anguish AND warmth for me!!
Kim, Kim, Kim, what WERE you thinking???? I just dropped my clothes off at the cleaners, for cryin’ out loud!
Kim on 22 Jul 2008 at 1:19 pm #
Hey, don’t hate me for my anal-ness. Embrace it *g*
K-Rawk–Thanks! I knew I could count on you.
Okay, IMO, y’all are over thinking the clothes thing. I’d just pack what you’d normally pack for a conference. You’re going to be in the hotel the majority of the time with climate control. I’d only be concerned about layers/warmth if you’re going out of the hotel often. If you are going out of the hotel just take a nice jacket.
Maybe I’m underthinking it??
I thought I mixed my wardrobe up fairly nice. I have two pink shirts, one lilac & white, a mixed jeweled tone with a black shell, a snazzy red jacket with a black tee and red top. Then I have a various capris, cords and slacks. Only two pairs of shoes though.
Claudia Dain on 22 Jul 2008 at 1:31 pm #
Kim, I LOVE that you listed your luggage contents. I’m going to cheat and maybe copy some of your choices. Plagarism of the suitcase! Is this a felony or merely a misdemeanor?
Two pairs of shoes?? Kim, are you *sure* about that? Wouldn’t five or six pair be more…fun?
Claudia Dain on 22 Jul 2008 at 1:43 pm #
Ways I procrastinate: surveying my shoe empire.
Julia London on 22 Jul 2008 at 2:32 pm #
Yeah, Claudia, Kim took my breath away with the “two pairs of shoes” comment. That doesn’t seem right somehow.
Add Kay’s name to the list of people who need their asses kicked. Sorry, Kay. But you brought it on yourself. >:-)
Paula on 22 Jul 2008 at 2:57 pm #
I procrastinate a lot, especially when there are other (boring) jobs that need doing. I usually spend time checking out TGB, Julia’s message board and a few other author sites I visit and check e mails and reading and anything but the jobs I need to do!
i am jealous of all of you who are going to SF. When are you all off? unfortuately it is too far and too expensive or me to go to. To all those who are going have a fab time and have a drink for me. Can’t wait to see the photos, Please.
Meg on 22 Jul 2008 at 3:05 pm #
My favorite way to procrastinate would be the relaxation method. Wether it’s relaxing - taking a nap; relaxing - reading a book; relaxing - watching some good reruns with my feet up… I need to be doing some dishes, but I worked all day, my feet hurt. I deserve some relaxation time.
I think you get the picture.
Julia London on 22 Jul 2008 at 3:22 pm #
Paula, the fact that you are pond-challenged reminds me that we have not had our Irish wake-up call lately from Deborah. We should have a mini-goddess conference in the UK. We all leave at various times next week.
Meg, I like your way of procrastinating!
Meg on 22 Jul 2008 at 3:25 pm #
All this talk of RWA… *sniff* I can’t go!!! I would love to but it’s too far. I am already making plans for next year in Washington, DC though.
cail on 22 Jul 2008 at 3:39 pm #
i could probably make it to the one next year in DC… sadly I did my San Fran trip in May before I realized that the conference was going to be there a few months later. Bad planning on my part.
Kay on 22 Jul 2008 at 3:46 pm #
Julia, I packed to procrastinate. I had a deadline to submit a short story and packing was my way to waste time/think about any last minute changes I wanted to make.
Story went out two days ago, and I went shopping today and bought a new outfit and two new pairs of shoes—-SO I HAVE TO REPACK. LOL
Paula on 22 Jul 2008 at 3:48 pm #
That would be great Julia, I would love to meet any goddessess that make it over to the Uk. I was also wondering where Deborah had got/gone to.
Nicole Jordan on 22 Jul 2008 at 4:13 pm #
Lol, Julia! I think you have me beat, but I’ve been spending waaaaay too much time on the Internet reading articles and opinions. Gotta stop, gotta stop, gotta stop….
Judy F on 22 Jul 2008 at 4:14 pm #
Congrats Karen Rose. Can you lose some for me too?
Well its July and I am still thinking about my Jan diet. LOL
I am a procrastination queen. I love to sleep in on Saturdays. Then I think ok I will watch a cartoon or two. Then its I will read a couple of chapters in my current book then the next think I know its lunch. This can go on all day.
I am firm believer of this at work. Sometimes if you put a problem account aside it will clear itself up all on its own.
Ellen on 22 Jul 2008 at 4:33 pm #
If you’re all wondering what that green blob of envy in the corner is…it’s me!
First K-Ro loses two dress sizes and then Kim packs in advance for a trip to San Francisco…and I can’t go. I already told my office that although I passed this year for work reasons, wild horses couldn’t drag me away from DC next year. Please have a drink on me at your goddess party!
Also, I’m with you K-Hawk on small talk. It makes me feel shy. I know it’s hard to believe a big mouth party girl like moi can actually feel shy, but it’s true.
And K-Ro…congrats on your success with Jenny. You will look beautiful in your royal blue.
ladydawgfan on 22 Jul 2008 at 4:42 pm #
I was going to join Procrastinators Anonymous, but I guess I’ll wait ’til tomorrow . . .
Actually, I procrastinate so much that I’ll probably be two weeks late to my own funeral!! I am truly pathetic in this department!!!
Ellen on 22 Jul 2008 at 4:47 pm #
LOL Ladydawgfan.
Ellen on 22 Jul 2008 at 4:49 pm #
Cail and Meg…I’m right there with you next year. I cannot bear all this talk of San Fran…I WANNA GOOOOO
Kim on 22 Jul 2008 at 6:40 pm #
5 or 6 pairs of shoes? Are you serious? That takes up sooo much room. Yup, only 2 pair for me. If I didn’t have the super cute shoes for RITA night it’d only be one pair. I’m SO not a shoe girl. I am taking 3 purses plus my super cute pink computer bag *g*
Claudia–sure you can copy my list!
Julia–what purse did you order online? If its a Coach I’m going to be so jealous.
Julia London on 22 Jul 2008 at 8:16 pm #
No, its from Madewell. They are a fairly new jean company with some expensive handbags.
Kay, you have redeemed yourself. I will not kick your ass.
Ellen, Meg, Paula, and everyone else who is sorry they won’t be in frigid San Fran, we ill think about yo and take plenty of pictures!
Kathy/Cookie on 22 Jul 2008 at 8:30 pm #
I would have loved to have procrastinated with you all today, but sadly, was away from my beloved pc all day and out in the blistering heat and torrential downpour that we are going to have all week. AND my darling darling ac unit has had enough of the wet and has stubbornly refused to work. So when i got home, there was no relief like usual.
it is icky hot here in my apt.
I’m off to bed with a good Goddess book and lay in front of the fan.
Kathy/Cookie on 22 Jul 2008 at 8:32 pm #
…and wonding how the topic turned to shoes when the subject was procrastination??hmmm..wonder who turned the topic?
will have to pay attention and read the whole thing carefully in the morning. brain too fuzzy to try right now.
Sabrina Jeffries on 22 Jul 2008 at 9:33 pm #
I never procrastinate. I turn in all my books on time, never wait for deadline, and keep my house spotless.
Hahahahahaha …
Sorry, the hysterical laughter is making it hard for me to think.
I’m not packed for conference. EXCEPT for one thing–my jewelry bag. It’s packed. And I know what I’m wearing. Other than that, I have not progressed far. I’m of the KarenH camp–wait until the day before and do a jillion things. Gearing up for next Monday!
Julia London on 22 Jul 2008 at 9:50 pm #
Kathy, if I came home to no AC, I would slit my wrists. No joke. There is no way I could live in July without it.

Talk to my sister for hours on end, even though, we talked for hours on end the day before, surf ebay, read blogs, my due dates forum, and books. Oh, and there’s always Spider Solitaire.
I’m leaving for Boston on Thursday. I haven’t packed, yet. After my daughter packed her stuff this afternoon, she told me that I needed to give her a dollar for doing it, lol. You see, her father has been paying her a dollar to do stuff around the house because she wants to go to Build A Bear Workshop. I didn’t give her any money, but it’s nice to see that at almost 5, she’s driven. Anyway, I did talk to my sister on 3 separate occasions, only because we got interrupted the first two times - that’s our excuse anyway. I did talk to my mom, too. And I started re-reading Sabrina’s Dangerous Lord. I think I’ll be packing tomorrow for sure.
Have fun in San Fran!
