Welcome to Sabrina’s FROS Boys
Feb 10th 2008
Sabrina JeffriesGoddess Eye Candy
I have a new habit–whenever I start a book, I choose a guy to represent my hero in my head, then put pics of him on my laptop. Here’s the one for Let Sleeping Rogues Lie (coming out a week from Tuesday, ahem):
You do realize that no FROS by me would be complete without Richard Armitage, don’t you? He’s definitely the guy I thought of for my hero Anthony.
Without further ado, here’s the hero for my upcoming novella:
Yes, that’s Jake Gyllenhaal. And for the book I’m working on now?
Rodrigo Santoro from Love, Actually. Yum! Cousin Michael’s book is after Rodrigo’s. Can’t wait to pick one for HIM!!

Really, just lovely.

Not normally a Jake Gyllenhaal fan, but he doesn’t normally look like that! Those are some total Mel Gibson eyes!

Anyone else enjoying the COMPLETE Jane Austen on Masterpiece Theatre? Tonight’s part one of the Colin/Jennifer P&P.

Sabrina, I think you’ve mentioned North & South here before. I’m off to B&N this afternoon to see if they have the dvd in stock, the reviews make it look very appealing.

With a name like Rodrigo and a face like his its pure heaven. He is a beautiful man! My only complaint is, “Why so many clothes?”

“Not normally a Jake Gyllenhaal fan, but he doesn’t normally look like that!”
I know, Keri, I agree totally!
LisaH, I have one of him without clothes–it’s just not my favorite. This makes him look dark and dangerous to me, which is what I like. Some of his pics make him look too youthful for me to see as a hero, even though when he was in Love Actually he was exactly the age of my hero for my WIP. I searched and searched for a pic of him as he was in the movie in that bedroom scene, but couldn’t find one. Sigh. But if y’all want one of him shirtless, there’s one at http://www.givememyremote.com/remote/wp-content/uploads/2006/07/Rodrigo-santoro-2.jpg . Never say I’m not willing to oblige.
Trust me, you can’t go wrong with Richard Armitage. He has a rough charm that makes me melt every time. And North and South is one of the most romantic movies I’ve seen in a long time.

Hey, if y’all ever want a FROS with nothing but pics of any of the above, I’ll be willing to oblige. I was going to do nothing but Armitage (I have a great shirtless pic of HIM), but I just couldn’t help throwing in all three. Tee-hee.
Cookiedough on 10 Feb 2008 at 11:56 am #
Sabrina, send that shirtless pic MY way!
droool on the keyboard….

Richard Armitage - sigh!
I would love an all Armitage FROS. Though the one posted is excellent too!
I can’t wait to see who you’ll chose for Cousin Michael. I hope you’ll do a FROS on him too!

Sabrina, I always knew you had excellent taste. Armitage fits my mental image of some of my dukes, too. Can’t wait to read your book.

LOVE your taste in heroes, Sabrina!
And I CANNOT WAIT for SLEEPING ROUGUES to come out! I know it will be delicious!

Sabrina you posted two of my favorite guilty pleasures!! Jake is on my wall at work, and I watch Love, Actually at least twice a month or Rodrigo misses me. What a lovely, lovely Sunday.

Richard is very popular these days. I can envision him as a hero in any book.

Sabrina, may I say you are the QUEEN of the visual aid when it comes to romance novels. Goodness, gracious, now THAT is a heroic trio!! And yes, I believe a FROS devoted to each of these gentlemen in turn would NOT be out of order. In fact, I would say it is a moral imperative! (Who am I kidding? There is nothing “moral” about my thoughts when I look at these guys!)
With inspiration like that no wonder you write such sexy heroes, Sabrina. Cannot wait for Sleeping Rogues to come out.
I would definitely let these three rogues lie as long as it was right next to me!!
Okay, I need to take a cold shower now.

I can always count on you Goddesses to give me some excellent eye candy to savor! Thank you!!!!
Lisa H on 10 Feb 2008 at 7:58 pm #
Thank you Sabrina—you are a full service goddess!
Doglady, I always agree with you, however you say it better!
Sabrina Jeffries on 10 Feb 2008 at 8:05 pm #
Glad y’all like my first try at FROS. Next time I promise to include some eye candy without a shirt.

Sabrina, just finished watch N&S. I get what all the fuss is about now. Margaret’s backward glances were getting out of hand, then I realized it was a pivotal plot point. Very good recommendation. It went perfectly with the new big ol’ TV that was delivered this morning! Thanks for making my Sunday very lovely.

Don’t you just wish Laura Linney never answered that dang phone?!
I do like the way you think, Sabrina. Truly inspirational!

Jake! Jake! Jake! Yes! That scene in Brokeback Mountain when he looks at Heath like there’s no one else on earth… I felt the emotion flowing from him. He’s so expressive. I wish I could write that kind of powerful moment. He’s gorgeous in EVERYTHING he does.

An all Richard Armitage FROS?? Yes please!
